Description

Utilize this resource with secondary learners as a self-directed learning activity and assignment investigating various Nutrition topics. Learners will engage in practicing the Health Skills of Accessing Information, Analyzing Influences, Decision Making, Goal Setting, and Practicing Healthful Behaviors. The Modules include:

  • Food Labels and Serving Sizes
  • Portion Sizes
  • Fueling For Exercise
  • Benefits of Breakfast
  • Fad Diets
  • Hydration
  • Caffeine and Energy Drinks

With the Google Doc, you can edit to fit your own needs or pair with specific lessons or topics. Students will pace themselves through different learning tasks and activities including video links, interpreting information from infographics, and analyzing food labels. Links are embedded directly in the Google Doc.

Provides for a flexible and self-paced lesson that is perfect for in person or distance learners! A great resource for any secondary Health, Physical Education, Fitness, or Nutrition, or Exercise Science class.
