Description
Many students simply don't know or have never actually read the labels on food products. This highly engaging activity gets students exploring food labels and helps them to begin processing important information such as calories, protein, sugar, added sugar and carbohydrates.
All of my products are classroom tested multiple times before being listed here on TPT. I looked and looked at TPT and couldn't find anything like this; so I made one. It was a hit! I have classes of very diverse students and and EVERY SINGLE STUDENT was engaged.
- Simple and very clear instructions to follow
- Easy prep (5 to 15 minutes depending if you do the cutting on a paper cutter or the students do it with scissors in class)
- Great assessment tool to gage how much your students know about food labels and the types of food many are putting in their bodies on a regular basis.
