What educators are saying

Great resource, I made some of these activities as a google forum. Author, message me and I'll send them to you!

Description

An excellent 16 chapter historical fiction book about the San Francisco Earthquake as seen through the eyes of a young Chinese refugee. I have divided the book into 4 sections and created 4 worksheets for each section: vocabulary, multi-choice questions, written response questions, and elements of literature. Within these pages are exercises for sequence, point of view, characterization, fact or opinion, fill in the blank, setting and mood, similes and metaphors, and characterization.
