Description

This low-prep resource contains all you need to teach nouns to your lower elementary students. Included are five days of lesson plans, a nouns game, worksheets, noun task cards, reading passages to help students identify nouns, and an assessment.

Using the Schoolhouse Rock video about nouns, you’ll introduce your students to nouns in a fun and engaging way. They will then decorate a pirate ship (which you can glue into your interactive notebooks) with the definition of a noun, you’ll play Noun Pictionary, draw pictures of missing nouns, read passages and find the nouns. And have a lot of fun with this grammar concept.

If you love this resource, check out my Parts of Speech bundle, which includes this noun unit, as well as week long units for adjectives and verbs! You’ll save about half by purchasing the bundle!

Students will enjoy grammar with these interactive learning experiences, group work, partner work, and practice for traditional standardized tests.
