Using NC road maps which teachers can order for free from the VISIT-NC site, Cheryl Gourley has created social studies geography lessons. The worksheets and activities correlate to the fourth grade curriculum in North Carolina. Activities include using the index, the mileage chart, as well as the road maps themselves.
