No Prep Parts of Speech Packet For Upper Elementary & Middle School

This packet is to help you teach/review the eight parts of speech. The packet is printable, GOOGLE ready, and has an Easel assessment and you have the option of using Easel in your classroom if you would like.

The following resources are provided to teach the lesson:

• Teaching pages – These are handouts that can be given to your students. It breaks down the lesson in easy to understand terms and provides examples.

• Four practice pages –These pages can be assigned as classwork or homework, but its purpose is to make sure students have understood the lesson. You can supplement your own handouts or worksheets for more practice throughout the week.

• An Easel Assessment - This is a formative assessment that will let you know how your students are doing with parts of speech after a couple of practices. Like a Google Form, it is self-grading and gives the student immediate feedback,

• A quiz – A quiz is included. You can decide to give a paper pencil version or use the Google Form version.

We recommend introducing the lesson on Monday, working with the lesson through practice Tuesday-Thursday, and giving the quiz on Friday.
