Description

This is a digital product: you will receive a link to add the lesson to your Nearpod library.

Move through this engaging Nearpod lesson that guides students on how to multiply with decimal numbers. First students will learn how to multiply a decimal number with a whole number. Students will review how to multiply whole numbers with powers of ten, so they can transition to multiplying decimal numbers with powers of ten. Finally students will learn and practice how to multiply decimal numbers with decimal numbers.

Students are challenged and engaged with Draw It slides for them to try the work on their own. They can submit their work with a photo (Chromebooks and apps only), by writing on screen or using a typing tool.

This lesson is designed to be used over multiple days. Teachers should have knowledge on how to use, edit, and work on Nearpod lessons. This lesson can be duplicated and shortened for use over 2 or more days. Extra do now activity slides are provided, so the lesson can be duplicated and shorted for multi-day use.

Teacher slides require the capability to draw on screen to demonstrate the skills during live lessons.
