What educators are saying

This was so much fun! I used it after our WWII unit. I got a real lock and a box and filled it with candy and fidget toys and my students LOVED it. This is going in my permanent curriculum. Thanks!
I used this as part of a lesson on WWII. We were discussing the code talkers and was a fun activity for them to do.

    Description

This bundle provides users with BOTH the traditional and distance learning versions of my popular Navajo Code World War II Crack the Code Escape Room.

This is the digital, distance learning version of my popular Navajo Code World War II Crack the Code Escape Room. You can find the version that is optimized for the traditional classroom here.

In this 100% fun and engaging crack the code, escape room style breakout activity, students are introduced to the secret Navajo Code developed by the Navajo Code Talkers in World War II that was used to transmit messages while evading enemy detention.

Students are placed in the shoes of investigators on the trail of the "American Illuminati" who have recently made threats to attack four of our nation's most storied landmarks: the World War II Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr Memorial, and the Vietnam Memorial. Student investigative teams have one class period to solve four clues related to the Navajo Code and World War II, then complete the final formula to crack the code. Do you have what it takes to crack the code?

Students use the Navajo Code to translate four secret clues, conduct research or use background knowledge, and use the clue answers to solve the final code that will save our nation's monuments!

Guaranteed to excite and engage your classroom.

Great for an end of the year, team-building, or skill-building assignment!
