Natural Disasters Research Project

This is a fantastic resource to use for Grades 3-4 to take research to the next level! In this research project, students will work in groups to research a natural disaster. Groups will work together to gather notes and information and then will use their research to create a newscast about their natural disaster.

Don’t have any technology for recording a newscast!?! No problem! You can have students perform their newscast LIVE for the class.

Student will LOVE creating their scripts, practicing their newscast and learning about Natural Disasters all at the same time! If you DO have devices for students to record, they will love being able to take turns recording and acting in their own skits!
