Native Americans & the Buffalo Student Handout

This product is the student handout that the student fill in as you give the PowerPoint Presentation lecture that discusses the relationship of the Native Americans to the white settlers and how buffalo hunting became big business while having the added benefit of forcing the Native Americans onto reservations. The PowerPoint explains how a buffalo hunter operated and how the removal of the buffalo freed up the land for the settlers. The PowerPoint has a focus on Texas but is beneficial for American History classes in general. The handout allows students to pay attention to the lecture by making them accountable for only recording some the of the information.
