In this engaging project, students will have the option of working in small groups, partners, or individually to research a Native American tribe of their choosing. A list of 10 of the most populated tribes according to the Census is included. After researching 8/11 provided in-depth research topics, students will create a presentation with several innovative mediums such as recording a podcast episode, using Google Slides, EdPuzzle, Flipgrid, designing an Educational blog or website over their tribe, creating a PSA, and more. Students are encouraged to include a creation story from the tribe they are studying as well. Teach students about Native American Literature in one of the best ways - by letting students teach themselves.
