What educators are saying

My school had a dream catcher creation challenge before Thanksgiving. As a support teacher, I wanted to give students background knowledge before digging into the challenge. The passage worked well for the 2nd - 5th grade students I teach- I was able to differentiate easily. Thank you!
What a great resource. My students were engaged and enjoyed the reading. Thank you for putting this on TPT!

Description

This is a great state test prep resource for your Native American study or your ELA cause and effect focus or BOTH! This reading passage is based on a Chippewa legend about the origin of dream catchers. The questions are designed to go along with the reading comprehension strategy of cause and effect. This is Common Core aligned and cross curricular with Social Studies and ELA. You could use this for whole group instruction, small group, or even give it as a homework assignment.
