Description
Writing a narrative is as easy as cut and paste!
This is such a fun writing activity that promotes creativity and imagination.
- Print and cut out the tags for ‘who’, ‘where’ and ‘what’.
- Place the tags into clearly labelled Ziploc bags.
- Without looking, students randomly choose one tag from each bag and attach it to the correct place on the narrative template sheet.
- Students then create a narrative plan using the template and include the lucky dip tags in their storyline.
Once the stories were written my class shared their fun writing with each other and their big buddy class.
2 styles of optional lined pages are included for students to write and illustrate their final good copy.
The results from these stories were hilarious and my class loved it. They asked if they could do it again the following day and blindly pick new tags. Win win!
