Description

FREE Narrative Writing Checklist serves as a wonderful reminder for students to check their work! The checklist walks students through the editing process to ensure that they are submitting their best work!

This is a great addition to a writing center or narrative writing booklet.

In my classroom, I use this narrative writing checklist along with Primary Narrative Writing and Book Cover Assessment. This Narrative Writing Booklet is a step-by-step student work booklet that teaches students to successfully and independently write a creative Narrative text! Graphic Organizers in the narrative booklet walks students through thinking about their stories critically and focusing in on their characters, settings, events or situations that happen in their story. After students have successfully written their Narrative stories, there is a possible extension activity to include a Media Literacy component; by having students work on their "design a book cover". In this Primary Narrative Writing Package, there are assessment tools and rubrics, making this narrative writing task print and go ready.
