Description

Try out this fun, fast, no prep activity in your classroom (or staff meeting!) whether you are virtual or in person. Participants will get moving and connect with one another as they race to guess the songs represented by the emojis. Once guesses have been made, advance to the next slide to show the answer and have an audiovisual of the song automatically start up for a short dance break!

Each song is chosen to be upbeat, culturally diverse, appropriate, and relevant to a wide variety of ages. That being said, this is most fun when the songs are ones you know your audience likes. For that reason, there are customizable slides so that you can create your own including instructions to program the slides to play your video automatically and highlight a portion of the song of your choosing.

Looking for other no prep activities that build social emotional competencies in short bursts ideal for ice breakers or brain breaks? Check out our SEL prompts for discussion or journaling with options for every age!
