NYS Common Core Math Module 2 for First grade Smartboard Activities

Engage NY Math Lessons 1-29 (Topics A-D) to introduce place value through addition and Subtraction within 20 for the next 10 weeks of school! Each daily lesson includes the class warm up fluency game, the application problem that the children will enjoy coming up and trying to solve, interactive concept development lesson, copies projected of the problem sets and an ending game to the lesson. I am so happy to share this with all of you. There are many interactive pages to keep your students engaged. I’ve also included slides for the mid module and ending assessment time period that you can use as a review.


You can find the teacher guides on the engageny website. I have also created and included a much easier series of lesson plans that go along with these smartboard lessons. For this module I am utilizing my teaching assistant. You will notice my plans are a little varied based on more small group work. The lovely thing is you can teach any way that benefits your students. These smartboard lessons can be used however you choose.
