My Core Word Book About "Eat" & "Drink" - English and Spanish

Core Word boards are essential and very beneficial for young students who are either nonverbal, in the early stages of language development, or learning to read. Core words are considered to be the first words that are frequently used in daily life (80% of what we communicate).

This book targets the verbs "eat" and "drink" while repeating the pronoun "I". You may use "I eat..." or "I drink..." as carrier phrases to have the student name the pictures. The worksheets include:

- cut and glue the core words in the correct box

- practice writing the core words

- circle the things you eat and drink
