This 14-slide PowerPoint presentation has everything you need to introduce your students to more advanced rhythm and meter concepts. This PowerPoint is full of embedded audio clips to demonstrate each concept. This is the second part of my 2-part series on Rhythm and Meter (part 1 is here). Designed for virtual and blended learning environments, it can be disseminated electronically to students to study on their own or used in class for face-to-face lecture. This PowerPoint covers Topics 1.8 and 1.9 from the AP Music Theory Course and Exam Description, and also reviews concepts presented in Topics 1.2, 1.6, and 1.7.
