Music Teacher Sub Plan Template

Use this template to create some easy-to-use sub plans for elementary music! It can be overwhelming to try to put together all of the information that a substitute teacher needs to know, and come up with meaningful plans that will engage students without overwhelming a non-musical substitute teacher! This template will help organize and condense the important information a substitute needs to teach your classes while you are away.

Lesson plan template: includes the 7 lesson plans that I use for my sub plans. 5 of them are for all grades K-6, one is for K-3, and the other is for grades 4-6. (Word document format makes it COMPLETELY EDITABLE)

PLEASE NOTE this product is intended to be an organizational template for your sub plans. Some of the included lesson plans require additional resources before they can be used in your classroom. Two of the lesson plans need only a recording of Saint-Saen's "The Carnival of the Animals". Another requires the game Instrument BINGO by Cheryl Lavender, and the other requires the Composer Social Media Profiles by Music with Miss W. In each case, the lessons could easily be modified to fit any similar materials that you might already have in your classroom, or substituted completely with your own lesson plans.

The purchase of this set entitles the buyer to use the materials in their own classroom. If you would like to use this in collaboration with your department or share with other teachers, you can purchase additional licenses for half price.
