What educators are saying

Great resource for helping my students review adding music note values. We used these in stations and they loved them. Some even raced to see who could finish first with the correct answers! Super fun!
My students loved doing this activity during music centers. They were engaged, and did a great job with it.

Description

Music Math Houses are a colorful and fun way to review note values. Included are 3 levels with 10 cards in each level. Laminate them and complete them with a dry erase marker. This set is great for the K-5 music classroom!

Each Music Math House has 5 musical math addition problems. Level 1 includes barred eighth notes, quarter notes and quarter rests. Level 2 includes all the note values in level one plus half notes and whole notes. Level 3 includes all of the note values of level 1 and 2 plus dotted half notes, single eighth notes and eighth note rests. There are ten cards for each level.

Answer sheets are included for each level. Place the cards, answer sheet and dry erase markers at a workstation. Students complete a card, check their answers, erase and move on to another card. Differentiate by using multiple levels.

An ink saving version is included as well. Print it on colored paper or on plain paper. Both ways look great! The ink saving version is also designed to be used as an assessment with lines for students' names and information. See the preview for a closer look
