What educators are saying

This was so funny once my students got into it. They had a lot of fun coming up with their own ideas for mundane costumes. Will definitely use it again!

Description

FREE for 24 hours! (offer ends 4:00 PM 10/27/23)

You know how middle schoolers love to be bored? Or how it's cool to be apathetic? Zombies? How they fixate on the smallest/oddest points? Let's play into that!

The newest Halloween trend in Japan is MUNDANE COSTUMES. Yep! How boring and how basic can your costume be? It's ridiculous yet intriguing and kids love it - especially middle schoolers.

Now let's add in an ELA component such as inferencing and we've got something for the classroom that's engaging AND aligned with the standards! Even *that* kid who never participates will want to talk about this activity.
