Description

This is a great, quick practice for multiplying decimals that makes things a little more fun than just another worksheet. It allows students to choose their own problems and to also check their own work. Thus providing excellent differentiation and scaffolding. Students choose three problems in a row to solve and find the corresponding answers in the grid below. In each row, the decimals are found in different places, the factors are different digit lengths, thus creating more varied practice for students. They color the problem and the solution the same color to make it easy for the teacher to quickly check their work. If more practice is needed, they can always go for blackout! My students love these tic-tac-toes and beg for them daily! I often give them as formative assessments at the end of lessons and the students don’t even realize they are being tested!
