Description
Multiplying decimals coloring worksheets - this decimal multiplication color by number resource has you set with three print versions and one digital version, offering engaging and versatile practice.
- Students solve 20 (or 15) problems, self-check, AND color in this multiplying decimals by decimals color by number.
- Students will know whether or not they solved correctly - if their answer is incorrect, they won't find it on the coloring sheet or the digital coloring pages!

The problems in this decimal multiplication color by number require students to:
- Multiply decimals: tenths times tenths to tenths times thousandths
- Solve word problems that require decimal multiplication
This easy-prep multiplying decimals resource includes possibilities for differentiation, with:
1) 3 Print versions
- Version A:
- 20 questions
- Version B:
- Same 20 problems as Version A
- Same pattern but different colors than Version A
- Version C:
- 15 problems (different problems from A and B)
- Coloring page with a different pattern
2) One Google Slides coloring version
- Same problems and mostly same colors as print version C
- Students type their answers in the answer box
- Students use the ‘Fill color’ bucket to color the shapes
- Questions are not editable (they are in the background) but the shapes and numbers in the pattern ARE movable.
3) Two Google Docs versions
- These are the problem pages only for versions A and C – no coloring (these were added in Spring 2020 before I had a chance to create the coloring versions)
4) Two coloring pages with no numbers, so students can color the pattern their own way, for fun.:-)
