This worksheet encourages students to interact with different aspects of a multiplication table through various prompts (8 questions), such as;
What do you notice about the multiplication table?
What do you wonder about the multiplication table?
What is 10 * 4 according to the chart?
What is 4 * 10 according to the chart?
Students are provided sentence stems in their answers boxes as an accommodation. Perfect as an introduction activity when working on multiplication facts, either independently in a group setting. There is an image of a 1-12 multiplication table on the handout as well for reference. This works both in the physical classroom or a virtual setting, as it was created to be assigned to student's on an online platform such as Google Classroom. The resource is also posted as Google Document to be edited to best fit your classroom.
