Multiple Meanings Words (homonyms): Roll-the-Dice Games

Are you looking for an engaging/fun way to target multiple meaning words (homonyms) with your students? These dice games are the perfect way to make learning new vocabulary fun!

Included in this set/How to use:

• This set includes 4 different boards of multiple meaning words. **A bonus set of numbered flash cards is included with all the picture prompts used on the boards. They are numbered to allow easy matches of the multiple meaning word sets. These flashcards would be great to use with a memory game or put on binder rings to keep them organized.

• Students/clients take turns rolling the dice. On each turn they mark off one multiple word under the number rolled after they have provided two or more meanings of the target word. Options for marking off words include: paint daubers, bingo chips, pencil/crayon, or dry erase markers depending on your preference. You win the game by getting one word under each number marked off. An extra turn could be offered if the student can think of a 3rd meaning. Other winning criteria can be used (i.e. getting all three words under a number marked off or even completing the entire board).

**These also make great homework practice sheets (they print well in black/white).
