1. Drag and drop main ideas and details into the "boxes and bullets"
graphic organizer. Main ideas and key details are separated on two different slides to make it easier to differentiate the two key ideas in each passage. Each drag and drop slide includes a random detail that is not a key detail or main idea.
2. Open response- students will read the passage, then type to complete side by side "boxes and bullets" graphic organizers to represent two different key ideas and details.
