Multi-Sensory Reading System: Virtual Lesson Format

HI READING TEACHER! Are you teaching multi-sensory reading socially distanced or virtually? Well, these Google Slides are going to make your life a whole lot easier!

What components are there?

• Letter Tile Board with additional tiles. There are multiple copies per tile to assist in words that use the same letter more than once!
• Editable Word Cards slide
• Word Cards Activity - now including the Apple Orchard Game Board found in my store!
• Editable Sight Words slide
• Editable Word List Reading practice & chart
• Editable Sentence Reading
• Editable Text Passage

How can I use this product? 

• Virtually over Zoom or another video chatting service (this is how I used it this summer)
• Screenshare: While you are video chatting, screenshare with your student so they see exactly what you see! You will be moving the tile pieces, but your student will still be engaged while tapping out words.
• Share on Google: if you want your student to have more involvement and your student is tech savvy, you can “Share” it with them on Google while you are video chatting and they can have control over the board for the Teach/Review and Written Work Dictation sections of Wilson. If you are on that same slide, you can see exactly what your student is doing.
• Social distanced teaching in the classroom - You could present the Google Slides on the board, or share with your student during the Teach/Review and Written Work Dictation as mentioned above. Less parts means less things for you to clean and worry about.
