Multi Meaning Word Mini Lesson PLUS Printable Word Card Game

This activity is 2 lessons in one. Begin with the SMARTboard mini lesson on multi-meaning words. Slides discuss how many of our words have more than one meaning so the reader must use the context to determine the meaning. At the end of the lesson, click on the link to the printable multi-meaning word card game. There are a total of 24 word cards and 24 sentence cards to match up to the word cards. I would suggest printing it on card stock. It was produced in color but can easily be printed in black and white if you do not have access to a color printer or copier. Instructions are included in the game. The game also contains blank word and sentence cards so that the teacher can add any other words to the game differentiating for their class. Words on cards include: train, pool, handle, bill, steer, mine, mold, right, kind, pound patient, club, cast, jam, seal, hard, charge, head, stamp, star, mouse, odd, safe, match.
