What educators are saying

In my special education resource room students have great difficulty rhyming even at an older age so we practice this phonics skill. This was a fun way to practice.

Description

Rhyming words game cards are included with four rhyming words game instructions for "Mr McGee and the Biting Flea" by Pamela Allen. This is a hands-on activity which is terrific for literacy rotations or fast finishers.

Please note that you will need a copy of the picture book to make the best use of this resource.

There are three different 'twists' in one of the four rhyming words games using the "You've been bitten" flea cards for players to either lose their cards, miss a go or have another turn. Also included in this resource are bookmarks to promote reading and to record new words learnt or being learnt/learned.
