A quick note: The words I have chosen for the student practice pages are "pure"- meaning the base words and suffixes can be separated cleanly without any change necessary to the base word. These pages are designed to be an introduction to Anglo-Saxon affixes with a focus on meaning. The one exception is the -ess suffix page. Ex. goddess- follows the 1+1+1 Doubling Rule. Students may need additional support on this page.
