Monster Proportions and Measurement

Alignment: 6th grade Common Core Standard, 6.RP.2, 6.RP.3d and 6.RP.3b, 6.RP.3.

These are cards with funny story problems related to monsters! There are 9 task cards that can be used in many different ways. I list ideas such as Scoot, Centers/Stations, Move Around the World etc. This activity gets the kids up and moving, while making them think critically, use proportions and solve problems dealing mainly with measurement, but some unit rate as well! What a fun activity to compliment the common core curriculum and get your kids engaged!
