Monday Mysteries with Storybook Characters - Video Segment Series

This is the first in a weeklong video segment series - look for future ones for each day of the week.

Monday Mysteries is a video segment series that asks students to figure out which book character "stole" an object based on the object itself and four clues left behind. This video clip is perfect for a morning news show segment, an addition to a morning meeting in the classroom, or as an icebreaker opening for a day of distance learning.

When you download this resource, you will open a zipped file that contains a PDF with teacher notes and student answer slips (optional) along with two videos for each mystery (a video presenting the mystery and a video revealing the "thief"). All videos are MP4 files and 1 minute or less.

This resource is no-prep and ready to go! Simply select the book character you want to use that week and show the video! What a fun way to have students about book characters they know and use inferencing to solve a mystery.
