Description

4,000 years ago the Olmec civilization rose to prominence in Central America. They became the mother civilization for all of Mesoamerica. Their religion was adopted and modified by all the other cultures, as were their agriculture practices and architectural structures. As sudden as their appearance, the Olmec disappeared leaving behind many questions about their civilization.
