    Description

Get all of my MERCY WATSON book companions in this BUNDLE! These chapter book companions have a consistent layout, so your students will feel confident and be able to complete the materials independently. There are several levels of difficulty included, so you can pick the right fit for your classroom needs! I have created these materials so that you can have conversations with your students about the plot, setting and characters after each chapter. And... encourage them to make predictions about what will happen next.

*There is one comprehension game included with this bundle...for the book Mercy Watson Something Wonky This Way Comes-and I will be adding five more of those to this bundle...one for each of the other books in this set!

Here is a detailed description for one of the companions:

Use these materials with the Mercy Watson series/book Mercy Watson Thinks Like a Pig by Kate DiCamillo. You will get over 100 pages of differentiated materials to use with the story.

Here is what teachers are saying about my Mercy companions:

"I love using these with my class. The consistent set up for the chapters make it easy for my students to understand. We use the page for each chapter with picture choices and the page for students to summarize what happened at the end of the chapter and predict what will happen next. Thank you so much!"

"My students were able to be engaged and participate in all of the provided activities with this resource in one way or another. They enjoyed the book so very much and having this resource helped them to be able to show how much they comprehended and connected with the text. THANK YOU!!!"

"This was perfect! Mercy Watson was my first attempt in my grades 3-6 special education class to dip our toes into chapter book read-alouds. Previously we had only done short picture books. Not only did my students LOVE the book, but these activities were perfect for my students. I liked that I could use it with my kids no matter what their skills were because there was a variety of activities. Having the cut and paste questions were very helpful, and kept my students engaged. Some students needed help cutting of course, but having the clear choices and only a few questions on the page was perfect. They also liked completing the drawing page that went with each chapter."
