Description

Honor Memorial Day in your classroom using this reading activity and science STEM lesson. Students will first read to learn about the history of Memorial Day and answer comprehension questions to assess their learning. This Memorial Day lesson also includes a STEM activity where students can use their knowledge of pulleys and simple machines to create a working flagpole.
