There is a place on both the Meet the Teacher template and the Welcome Letter template to insert a photo of yourself to help make them more personal (both written instructions & a video tutorial for inserting photos is included).

Adding your photo helps students make a visual connection with you and feel more at ease about the first day of school because they will recognize you. If you do not wish to add a photo, it can be left blank or text can be added instead.

Please note, the graphics on the templates can not be moved or edited.

• Meet the Teacher Template - simply fill in the text boxes to help students get to know you. The headings and text can be edited to fit your needs and personality.
• Welcome Letter Template - send a personal note to students or parents getting them excited and informing them about the upcoming school year.
• Student Gift Tag - personalize a cute gift tag for each student and attach it to a bag of Goldfish Crackers or Swedish Fish for a fun surprise on the first day of school. Having something special waiting for students can help ease those first day of school jitters.

Simply change the headings on the Meet the Teacher template and use it for a student get-to-know-you activity (students fill in the boxes with text or pictures).

Change the text on the Meet the Teacher template and use it for your monthly newsletters.

The Welcome Letter template can be used throughout the year for parent communication, student notes, classroom signs, etc.
