Description
This multi-day bundle can be used as a stand alone 1-2 week unit, as an introduction to academic research in any subject, or during a research unit to review or practice skills. It consists of three individual lessons on cognitive biases, fact vs. opinion, and evaluating sources for credibility. All three lesson include a short quiz (with answer key) that can be used as formative assessments, or combined for a summative assessment.
If you choose to use this bundle as a stand alone unit, the suggested order of the lessons is:
1. Cognitive biases
2. Fact vs. opinion
3. Evaluating sources
The unit is most appropriate for high school students.
