Daily writing journal with sentence starter. Each day students are given a sentence starter that connects to the topics/essential questions for the units in the 1st grade Reading Wonders program. I use this in my own classroom as morning work. It can be easily printed, copied, triple hole punched, and put into a three prong folder.
