Description

The ideal interdisciplinary lesson, where mathematics meets art. Students use their knowledge of measurement to make a bag, either through a template or via dictated instructions from the teacher. They paint it in the style of Claude Monet, learning about him in the process. Let the bag dry, and assemble this creation into their very own tote bag. Laminate if possible. Watch the students smile, as they take away their beautifully self-made bags, which they created from start to finish. This digital download includes a lesson plan, further instructions, a bag template, copyright free copies of some of Monet's paintings, as well as a short comic of Claude Monet's life.
