Check out this video to see how Math Tales work: How Math Tales Work

Each activity focuses on specific math standards. Students do the math…then provide words to fill in the blanks of a given reading passage…then laugh as they read the passage they helped write!

Your purchase includes:

- DIGITAL version in Google Sheets

- A PRINTABLE version of the activity

- A Math Tales DIRECTION sheet to use as a demonstration tool

- A Product Instruction guide

This is what you can expect in Math Tales: Order of Operations - Introduction

The MATH: Students are given step-by-step guidance through two math problems using the order of operations. Then they work through 4 other problems on their own.

The TALE: The reading passages are two poems from the book, "The Crossover" by Kwame Alexander. Students will add their own flair to these poems that reveal the heart of a basketball loving youth.

The digital version using Google Sheets goes the extra mile by providing feedback based on the answers the kids give. It will recognize common mistakes that students make and will give them guidance to get them back on track. When they get it right, they get the green light and positive feedback!
