Description
This geometry reference sheet is a handy tool for students who are learning about two-dimensional shapes (essentially polygons). It categorizes these shapes in an orderly and color-coded manner and depicts their inter-connectedness in a flow-chart fashion.
I have found that my students rely on this chart to keep track of the different types of triangles, quadrangles/quadrilaterals, and larger polygons that exist. It's a simple but effective tool for students -- and sometimes equally effective for teachers, too.
(In this file are two versions of the same chart. One version contains pictures of the depicted shapes, while the other version does not. Use whichever version you prefer.)
