    Description

    Do you struggle trying to fit in all in? This is a fun way to incorporate some social studies and geography practice into your math computation practice. Using the math answers from addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, students answer place value questions to learn about each state's capital, nickname, tree, flower, animal, and bird.

    If you teach about U.S. regions or each of the U.S. states, this bundle is perfect! Students practice math computation to learn about each state's symbols and quick facts while working on math fact fluency.

    Students will:

    ➙Answer 6 different math computation problems

    • 3-digit and 4 digit addition and subtraction
    • Basic multiplication and division fact fluency practice
    • 2 digit by 1 digit multiplication and 3 digit by 1 digit multiplication
    • Long division with and without remainders with 1 digit divisors

    ➙Using the answer, students will answer place value questions (place, value, comparing numbers, and rounding)

    ➙Students will discover and record the state's capital, nickname, tree, flower, animal, and bird

    ➙Students will find the state on a U.S. map.

    Teachers will:

    ➙Give students meaningful computation math practice

    ➙Differentiate practice with a third and fourth grade skills version

    ➙Have a chance to review important place value skills

    ➙Squeeze in additional social studies practice and introduce students to all 50 U.S. states

    ➙Download the regional packets in the State Math Bonus Zip File that split the states by their region and have you locate states on the regional maps.

    Different states have different corresponding skill with 2 different levels (3rd grade skill/4th grade skill)

    3-digit subtraction or 4-digit addition:

    Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia

    3-digit subtraction or 4-digit subtraction:
