Description
Students love Math Escape Rooms. Combining 3 of them will go down well with your class. Capture their imagination with these escape rooms and get the students excited about learning. This Math Escape Room Bundle includes The Aliens Spaceship, The Pirates Ship, and The Dinosaur Dig Site. These themed escape rooms have been specifically designed with third, fourth, and fifth grade students in mind. Perfect for back to school and end of year math activities.
These Escape Rooms can work for both individuals and groups. I typically print off the clues in color, laminate them for durability, and scatter them around the room. I place the students in groups of 2-4. The students work their way around the clues solving them and putting the answers on the students pages . When they have finished they check back in with the teacher to confirm if they are correct. I typically give them a chocolate at this stage (but that is up to you). No need for lock boxes or anything fancy like that.
The Pirates Ship Math Escape Room
You have been captured by pirates. They have locked you in the brig with the only means of escape through the unbreakable door that you came in. The door requires a secret code to unlock it so that you can escape.
You look around the room to look for clues as to what the password might be. You notice 6 clues that will need to be solved.
Each clue will give you a word. These words will unlock the secret password that will let you unlock the door.
Solve the clues to reveal a secret word.
