Description

This Martha's Vineyard self-guided culture study is a perfect addition to your ASL or Deaf Studies curriculum. The content is intended for independent, digital use but can be modified to be a whole class activity.

Students will explore information about the history of Deaf people on the island. Students will watch original videos, learn vocabulary and facts, and complete a series of activities. This packet includes:

- Videos with English translations

- Reflection and summary sheets

- Jigsaw articles

- Jigsaw worksheets (group activity)
