March Crossword Puzzles & Word Search - Middle & High School - Print & Digital

Do you need no-prep resources to use in the month of March? These crossword puzzles and word search puzzles will meet your needs! Topics include Spring, St. Patrick's Day, Pi Day, March Madness and Women's History Month. Bonus puzzles for Mardi Gras are included, but this falls during February in 2024 (also included in February's puzzles).

These twelve printable and digital puzzles will provide your students with engaging enrichment during the month of March. You can also use puzzles in a sub plan or for early finishers.

Suggestions for Use:

• Make print copies to keep on hand for students who finish their work early.
• Assign digital copies as part of a sub lesson plan or as extra credit.
• Connect puzzles to existing units and have students generate word and clue lists for new puzzles.
• Use as a springboard for independent research on the five topics from the puzzles.
• Give students an opportunity to work in pairs or groups for a game or timed competition.
• Grab thematically linked reading passages or jigsaw puzzles from the store for extension.
