Description

Students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades often need explicit help navigating how to make friends and include others! This Making Friends lesson uses a friendship recipe to teach them the skills they need:

  1. Finding people they want to be friends with
  2. Asking to join in
  3. Including others
  4. Having fun!

It's a super low-prep lesson that doesn't require independent reading/writing skills (though a worksheet is included for those who have them) and instead incorporates meaningful whole-group practice activities throughout the lesson.
