What educators are saying

This is a great skill to practice, and I LOVE the series of whiteboard videos. This is my third purchase of 7-minute whiteboard videos!
My students LOVE these 7 minute videos. They like to race each other to see who can get the right answer first. I love that they practice some of the concepts that were taught and they are very engaged. These videos help to understand the concepts better. Thank you for a great product!

Description

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and just needed a minute to catch your breath? Have you ever wondered how you could keep your class busy while you worked one-on-one with a student or small group? I know I have and that's why I created 7 Minute Whiteboard Videos. They are ZERO prep! No copies! No early finishers! No grading! The best part is, kids LOVE them!

*This was one of the first resources I posted in my store in 2012. Since that time, my creation skills have improved SO much! I am actually embarassed by what the origininal resource was and it has had a total update. Haha! As a thank you to everyone who has bought this (and an apology for how bad it used to be), I decided to make it a totally awesome resource! This will include a TON of 7 Minute Whiteboard Videos reviewing tens partners in themes to last all year. I will keep creating new themes and adding to this set all year long.

Addition Sentences- Your students will need to write the addition sentence with the missing addend. Videos in this theme currently include:

Fast Fact Fluency - These videos do not require writing math facts, but just the missing number to make ten. Vides in this theme currently include:

Race the Markers - The board calls out numbers and your students have to try and write the tens partner before the marker writes it. These videos come in different speeds (I will continue adding more) so that you can increase the speed as your kids get faster. The set currently includes:

For any number from 1 to 9, find the number that makes 10 when added to the given number, e.g., by using objects or drawings, and record the answer with a drawing or equation.
Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
