What educators are saying
This is such a fun creative way to guide students researching about college. My students prior had no idea about college admissions and this was a fun way to open that conversation up and give them an objective through their research.
My students loved researching a college and then creating their own pennant! It was a great way for my students to do their own research and see their creativity.
Description
This college/university research activity requires students to find information such as number of undergraduate students, majors available, sports and activities, cost of attendance, etc.
On the back side of the paper, students will also create and color their own college pennant for that school. They may design their own or they can base it off the school's real pennant by researching the design online.
Hang these up, and it is a fantastic, simple way to decorate your room for college readiness AND display student work!!!
If you are skilled with a copy machine, this is awesome to have copied onto larger paper (11x17).
This document pairs well with my other product, "AVID - College Search / Research Project"
