  • This lesson teaches the students how to recognize the main idea in a paragraph by reading 20 paragraphs, where the students have to choose the main idea and justify their choices.
  • Then there is an activity where the students have to complete paragraphs by writing the main ideas for these paragraphs.
  • This lesson can be used with students from the middle school to the high school.
