This Common Core State Standard RI1.2 Unit was developed for my Special Education students who required picture symbol text support and visuals for learning these CCSS skills.
The unit includes:
- Essential Outcomes (3 grades) 1-3
- Academic Vocabulary
- Academic Vocabulary Visuals
- Question Stems/Reader’s Responses
- Guided Reading Text Books Suggestions for Reading A-Z (A-F)
- Treasures Kindergarten Story modified with picture symbol text & regular version, along with 3 Question RI.1.2 Assessment (multiple choice)
- Third Grade Passage and RI3.2 Assessment with picture symbol text and multiple choice questions
* The Academic Vocabulary, visuals and Question Stems/ Reader’s Responses are used for grades 1-3 to build foundational skills.
